 SITUATION: Our children and parents are concerned with the lack of attention to excellence from an underperforming education system: declining reading, writing and math scores, declining enrollment, and mismanagement. Our public education is a core and vital American institution that we cannot allow to decay.  Our Public Education system must focus on its primary role of teaching and learning to improve academic achievement for all across the great state of Minnesota!

ACTION: We need new thinking to revitalize and course correct! We must reform our methodologies to advantage children with the means to a better life: core academic skills, pride in America and oneself, plus unity among all her citizens. We must focus on funding teachers, optimizing facilities and activities for our students strengthening the communities served by the public education system, resourcing essential needs for curriculum and classroom demands in order to succeed. We must examine improving school safety through a layered approach in order to provide all our schools with the peace of mind of a safe and secure environment to learn.
